About this file
This is a Market Research Questionnaire issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support in Columbus, Ohio, to gather supplier information for a potential firm-fixed-price contract award for Actuator Assembly NSN 1720-01-034-9526 (Navy Part Number 612849-3, CAGE 81A16, manufactured by York Precision Machining and Hydraulics). The estimated procurement quantity is 67 to 180 units, with the final solicitation and RFP to include ranges reflecting potential demand changes prior to award.
The questionnaire requests comprehensive supplier information across multiple categories: company classification (manufacturer/distributor status, small business status, employee count, parent company details), commercial distribution network details, EDI capability, pricing component drivers, manufacturing complexity assessment, and relevant certifications (EJCP and NIST compliance). Suppliers must address cost or pricing data requirements under FAR thresholds, including whether certified cost or pricing data or alternative documentation can be provided, and whether previous certified cost data has been submitted to DLA. The questionnaire requires determination of whether items qualify as commercial per FAR 2.101(b) and requests supporting documentation such as published price lists, un-redacted commercial sales history, or complete drawings for price reasonableness verification. Additional requirements address FOB destination acceptability, estimated delivery timeframes for production quantities and first article testing, willingness to submit to government first article testing or production lot testing, and estimated unit pricing. The item is identified as a Critical Application Item for Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment requiring Enhanced JCP Certification and Contractor First Article Testing with documented welding procedures, with products to be shipped to a DLA stock location.
