MARKET RESEARCH QUESTIONNAIRE

Automotive Service Program

FCI Loretto, Pennsylvania

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in compliance with Federal

Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The services will encompass the provision of an

Automotive Service Program. The contractor will provide instruction in the automotive services that will qualify inmate graduates for at least an entry level position in the industry. This service will be provided for the prisoners held in the custody of the Department of Justice, Federal

Bureau of Prisons, located at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Loretto 772 Saint Joseph

Street Loretto, Pennsylvania.

The requirement for this service will consist of an estimated 30 sessions per week. Each session will be defined as approximately six (1-hour sessions) hours in length. It is anticipated the services will be required 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding federal holiday. The schedule is subject to be adjusted to meet program requirements and the needs of the institution. A mutually agreed upon schedule between the contractor and the Bureau of

Prisons will be determined following award of a contract. The Government anticipates requiring

1,300 sessions per year. There will be an estimated maximum of 12 inmate participants per class.

The performance period will be for a base year, being Date of Award (DOA) through 12 months and four 12 month option periods exercised at the discretion of the government.

All potential quoters are advised if a solicitation is issued it will include the clause at
