About this file
This Market Research Questionnaire is a document issued by the 374th Airlift Wing of the Department of the Air Force seeking information from potential contractors for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for exterior painting and related services at Air Force installations in Japan. The comprehensive 34-question survey aims to assess market capabilities for painting, weatherproofing, and surface repair services for concrete, masonry, metal structures, tanks, and facilities at Yokota Air Base, with a focus on understanding local commercial market availability, contractor qualifications, pricing structures, logistical capabilities, and compliance with Japanese and U.S. environmental and safety regulations.
The questionnaire requests detailed responses by June 20, 2025, covering topics such as service availability, prior experience, licensing, quality control processes, mobilization timelines, multiple location capabilities, minimum order requirements, and ability to handle as-built drawings. Potential respondents are asked to provide insights on their technical skills, regulatory awareness, payment acceptance methods, and overall capacity to support a multi-year IDIQ contract. Contact points for questions include Dr. Nidhi Arya, Ms. Namiko Kaneko, and Ms. Sharu Toma, with assurances that the collected information will be used exclusively by the U.S. Government and not shared with other contractors or organizations.
