MDC Brooklyn and Dayton Manor Apartments
MARKET RESEARCH QUESTIONNAIRE
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10. It is anticipated a single solicitation will be issued for the provision of solid waste removal services. The physical address of the MDC Brooklyn is 80 29th street, Brooklyn New York 11232. The contract year shall consist of a 12 month base year with four 12 month option years for renewal. The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The services will be provided for the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, located at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) – Brooklyn and the Dayton Manor Apartments in Brooklyn, New York. The NAICS Code is 562111. The size standard is $41.5 million. The requirement for the service is estimated as follows:
1) two pulls monthly of one 30 cubic yard open top container;
2) one pull weekly of two 30 cubic yard open top containers;
3) two pulls per week of two 35 cubic yard government owned compactors.

Are these rates and requirements consistent with regulatory requirements in New York?
