The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. A single solicitation will be issued for Replace Cooling Towers at FDC Houston. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), FDC Houston located at 1200 Texas Avenue, Houston, TX 77002, intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals for Replace Cooling Towers.

This market research questionnaire is for informational purposes only. The described requirement may or may not be included in the subsequent solicitation.

A summary of the requirements is as follows:

Provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, permits, and incidentals to remove and replace two (2) existing rooftop cooling towers with new units of equal or greater capacity. New cooling towers shall be supplied with enhanced corrosion protection. All manufacturers’ recommendations shall be followed during the installation of the new towers.

All future information concerning this acquisition, including the pre-solicitation notices, solicitation, and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed solely through the website.
