MARKET RESEARCH QUESTIONNAIRE
Welding Instructor
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to establish a contract for the provision of Welding Instructor services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Terminal Island, California. The physical address is 1299 S Seashore Ave, Terminal Island, CA 90731. The contract shall consist of a base year and four (4) 12 month option years. It is estimated that 840 sessions will be required for each year of Welding Instructor services. A session is defined as one (1) hour. All expectations and duties are outlined in the attached Statement of Work. The NAICS Code is 611210. The size standard is $22.0 million.

All potential quoters are advised if a solicitation is issued it will include the clause at FAR 52.212-4 (Feb 2007) for Commercial Items, paragraph (t) System for Award Management (SAM). This clause requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database.
