About this file

The document is a Living Wage Certification Form from the Town of Manchester, Connecticut, related to an On-Call Moving Services and Storage of Evictions contract opportunity. The form requires bidders to indicate whether they are a "Covered Employer" under the Manchester Living Wage Ordinance (Chapter 212 of the Manchester Code of Ordinances) and comply with its wage requirements. Bidders must either certify that they will pay the required living wage to eligible employees throughout the contract term or claim an exemption based on specific criteria such as being a nonprofit organization, employing fewer than 25 eligible employees, or having an annual contract value less than $25,000.

The certification form is mandatory for bid submission, with failure to properly complete it potentially resulting in bid rejection. The form provides three specific exemption categories: (1) charitable foundations or nonprofits exempt from federal income taxation, (2) employers with fewer than 25 eligible employees, and (3) contracts with an annual value under $25,000. The document requires an authorized representative to sign and date the form, certifying the accuracy of the representations made regarding the bidder's employment and wage status in relation to the Manchester Living Wage Ordinance.
