About this file
The document is a Living Wage Certification Form issued by the Town of Manchester, Connecticut, related to a contract for Leaf and Yard Waste Grinding and Removal Services. The form requires bidders to certify their compliance with the Manchester Living Wage Ordinance by indicating whether they are a Covered Employer subject to the ordinance's requirements or exempt due to specific conditions such as being a nonprofit, employing fewer than 25 eligible employees, or having an annual contract value less than $25,000.
The certification form is designed to ensure that contractors bidding on municipal contracts either pay a living wage to eligible employees or qualify for an exemption. Bidders must carefully complete the form, checking the appropriate box to indicate their status, and sign and date the document to be submitted with their bid or proposal. Failure to properly indicate compliance may result in bid rejection. The form is part of the Town of Manchester's efforts to maintain fair labor practices and support adequate compensation for workers involved in municipal contract work.
