Maize Plot Research Combine
Basic machine:
• 105hp – 120 hp diesel engine, 4.5l, minimum tier 4 emission standard
• 40 gal fuel tank and 5 gal DEF tank
• Three-Speed hydraulic ground drive
• Hydraulic Parking Break
• Front axle with one central drive motor and mechanical differential lock
• Minimum 40bu Grain tank with hydraulic unfolding auger of minimum 13 ft height
• Sensor for filling level of the grain tank
• Hydraulic power steering
• Mechanically Foldable ladder so it is concealed into the side of the combine during operation
• 4-wheel-drive
• Reversible cooling fan to keep radiator clean during harvest
Cabin
• Fully integrated multifunctional armrest (for all buttons and switches) in driver’s seat
• Camera system with 4 cameras at following positions: weighing system, rear, straw walkers, below spout for unloading auger
• Air Ride driver seat
• A/C, heater, head lights, security glass, windshield wipers, interior and exterior lights
• Indicators, horn and lights for road use

Cleaning and Threshing System
• Threshing Drum/Straw walker system
• concave clearance must be hydraulically adjustable
• Tangential threshing system with synchronized (speed) straw beater/stripper
• Threshing cylinder speed adjustable between 260-1600 rpm
• Minimum Torque of 540 Nm on threshing cylinder for high performance threshing in high moisture corn
• Minimum threshing cylinder diameter 450mm and 800mm channel width
• Concave Wrap Angle of 135° or higher with a separation surface of 4.8 sq ft or higher
• Minimum of 4 straw walkers with a separation surface of 21 sq ft or more
• 2-step cleaning surface with minimum of 23 sq ft cleaning area to ensure clean samples. This will enable the weighing system to provide high quality data
• Hydraulically driven cleaning fan with quick adjustment from cabin, RPM of 450 – 1800
Feederhouse and cutting platform:
• Chain Feeder-house to ensure high capacity in high moisture conditions
• Easy Feeder-house dismounting within 15 min
• 2 Row 30” Corn Header
• Driveline to constantly provide a minimum of 40 hp for the corn header
• Reverse Mechanism for corn header
• Emergency Stop for Header
Weighing and sampling:
• Harvestmaster H2 HighCapacity Weighing system to collect weight, moisture and test weight
• Weighing System needs to slide out completely for easy moisture calibration without operating combine (engine turned off for safety during calibration)
• Industrial Tablet with Mirus weighing system software including field plan
• switch to deliver either to the weighing system or to the grain tank

• Hydraulic operations over belt solutions to reduce down time, combine should not have more than 7 belts, Self-tensioning drive belts preferred
