About this file
This Request for Information (RFI) MAFTDL-0001 is issued by the Department of Defense to conduct market research for operational support of Mobility Air Forces (MAF) Tactical Data Link (TDL) situational awareness systems. The DoD seeks capable sources to provide comprehensive support including depot support, maintenance, technical refresh, training, and troubleshooting across air platforms, with the goal of enabling real-time mission re-tasking, improved situational awareness, threat environment monitoring, and close air support de-confliction.
Interested businesses must submit electronic responses to Paul Amicangelo at paul.amicangelo@us.af.mil by July 25, with submissions limited to 10 pages excluding brochures or appendices. The RFI requires detailed capabilities information in two parts: business information (including company details, CAGE code, and socioeconomic status) and capabilities/experience descriptions covering operational support, program management, depot support, training, and technical expertise. The NAICS code is R706 for Logistics Support Services, and potential respondents should provide specific examples demonstrating competency in areas such as risk management, security protocols, configuration management, and field support capabilities.
