About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) amendment for the procurement of vehicle swing gate repairs under Solicitation Number M68909-24-Q-7618. The key details are:
The RFQ is for the removal and replacement of an existing HySecurity swing gate operator with a new HySecurity SwingSmart DC 20 24VDC swing gate operator with battery backup. The work includes mounting the new gate operator, installing a new monitored reversing device, and connecting the equipment to the existing power, strike, loop, and access controls. The RFQ specifies that vendors must procure parts from an authorized distributor and register the product with HySecurity to receive a 5-year warranty. The solicitation has been set aside for small businesses. There are no special insurance requirements or bonds required, and no federal prevailing wage applies. Vendors are not permitted to propose "or equal" solutions - only the HySecurity SwingSmart DC product will be accepted.
