Question Answer Changes to RFQ 1 The specifications shows a 50' x 98' which is just is just shy of a 5,000 sq foot tent. Would a 70 x 80 x 10 foot legs work which is a 5,600 sq foot tent?
Are the sizes for the tents in the Solicitation firm or can we use different sizes if you have the same amount or more space as called for?
Tent dimensions remain, but you are welcomed to submit an alternate proposal.
None
2 Flooring: Dura Trac is specified in the RFQ.
Can we use Astroturf or Bil Jax Flooring?
Or-equal language added to flooring.
Please refer to Amendment 0001.
Changed to Dura Trac or equal Flooring. *Dura Trac flooring is brand name. The Government will accept brand name or equal. If proposed flooring is equal to Dura Trac, descriptive literature must be included that describes specifications of the “or equal” product. Flooring needs to be a hard, stable, and durable surface.
3 In your solicitation, you have asked for an individual unit price and line item total for each item. Unfortunately, some of the items from my supplier are priced as a lump sum, encompassing several tasks and including everything you have requested. Would it be acceptable if I include a notation of $.01 next to the line items that are already included in the lump sum price?
Annotate “NSP” for Not Separately Priced for those items that are part of a set.
Changed to state - "For items that are Non-Separately Priced (NSP), indicate “NSP” in the Extended Price column".
4 Would a substitution of 8’ Tables at the same price as 6’ be acceptable?
Yes Quantity 10, 6' x 30" tables changed to Quantity 10 6’ to 8’ X 30’’ tables.
5 Will the tents be utilized 7 days a week? Our requirement is that the tent and equipment be available for the duration of the POP. Tents will be used 5 days a week M-F for about 12 hours a day.
None
6 Will it be 8 hours a day (single shift) 16 hours (double shift) or 24/7 for the duration of the event?
