SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY! This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for the information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government in response to this notice.
The Notice ID number is M6890924I7629 - Spectrum Guard PRO Remote Kit and shall be used to reference any written responses to this sources sought.
The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) is conducting market research to determine business size and competition. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed is 334220. The size standard for this NAICS Code is 1250 number of employees.
The requirement is for one Spectrum Guard Pro Kit, an operations module, Spectrum Guard Tactical Support Kit – Rugged and a 12-month warranty. The Kit is a standalone portable spectrum analyzer with post capture analysis tools - to support MCTSSA’s Warfighter Support Division (WSD). The Kit is a brand-name manufactured by CTL-SystemWare, a Division of Charon Technologies, LLC (CTL). The Government is seeking information for the specific brand name items. Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources capable of providing the CTL-SystemWare brand name products listed above. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company’s business size (i.e., annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, woman-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of any manufacturer agreements to resell these brand name items.
The information provided in this Sources Sought is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
PLEASE NOTE: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.
RESPONDENTS MUST NOT INCLUDE CLASSIFIED INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE TO THIS RFI.
Telephone inquiries will not be permitted, entertained, accepted, or acknowledged, and respondents should not expect feedback regarding their capability submissions. However, entities may be invited to participate in a follow-on meeting with the Government for a question/answer session to further assist in the overall market research for this requirement.
