About this file

This document is a Standard Form 30 Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for a Close Quarters Combat Training contract (Solicitation Number M6740025Q0040) issued by the United States Marine Corps. The amendment modifies the original solicitation by adding a Questions and Answers form, which provides detailed clarifications about the training requirements, including logistics, training specifics, and vendor expectations.

Key details include a 14-day consecutive training course at Camp Hansen in Okinawa, Japan, focused on teaching close quarter combat techniques. Contractors will need to provide their own transportation, reside at nearby hotels like Ocean View Inn or Best Western Okinawa Kouki Beach Hotel, and use simulated rounds (not weapons). The solicitation is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) and requires proposals on Standard Form 1449. Specific training equipment and gear have recommended equivalent brands, and the awarded contractor will receive unit SOPs and coordination details after contract award. The response date was extended to 08-Aug-2025 at 03:00 PM.
