2 CLIN0001 N/A

1. The spec sounds like it’s asking for a quick coupler, which is fine, we can do that but we were under the impression they wanted to be able to connect to any loader bucket with the bucket connection system.

ANSWER: Not required. See example of equipment that fastens directly to the lifting pintle.

2 CLIN 0001 N/A

2. There is also no mention of a wheel assist, which is also fine, we manufacture with or without.

The question is do they know they will always have a large enough loader? The beauty of the wheel assist is it enables it to be used on a smaller loaders. I did talk to our engineers and a 480Xi could hypothetically work on a 624K, we’re investigating further. The R, of the 624KR, or the military cab, we understand adds roughly 7,000 pounds which could also help, If the loader being used actually has that installed. A wheel assist would not only eliminate these worries but would also ensure compatibility with a wider range of loaders. Happy to accommodate either way, just want to be clear.

ANSWER: Yes. We need the wheel assist. Solicitation Amended to add “With Wheel Assist” as part of CLIN 0001 Item Description (Extended)
