Can you accept the Automatic Transmission with manual mode, which drivers have only automatic limited can operate?

The government will accept automatic manual transmission vanss, assuming that drivers who only know how to drive vehicles with automatic transmissions can still operate them. can be operated by drivers who only have automatic transmissions.

-Fire Extinguisher: Class ABC Fire extinguisher 1kg with mounting blankets.

Please specify the location of fire extinguisher to be installed.

Gov’t Answer The contractor is required to place the fire extinguisher directly underneath the passenger front seat so that it does not protrude from the seat.

-Film on Window: Manufacturer’s standard dark tinted glasses for all rear compartment

Three options are available to install dark-tinted glass. Please confirm your requirements and choose the following options.

3. Dark-tinted film on dark-tinted privacy glass window

-Spare Tire: Manufacturer's Standard Radial Tire

Can the government accept the manufacturer's standard temporary tire as a spare tire or allow the contractor to load the radial spare tire on the rear seat since there's no space to install a radial spare tire?

Gov’t Answer Manufacturer standard temporary tire as a spare tire is acceptable, and if there is no space for a spare tire, mounting the spare tire on the rear seat is also acceptable.

10 Passenger Van Will you accept the Floor Mat Type which is Standard Carpet Floor?

Gov’t Answer Government will only accept vinyl or rubber floor mat.

10 Passenger Van We would like to comfirm the quantity of Triangle Reflector. Is required quantity one?

Gov’t Answer Government requires one (1) triangle reflector per vehicle.

Since there is no requirement of jack and tire sopper, do we correctly understand we do not have to offer them?

Gov’t Answer The tire jack is required. A tire stopper is not required.

Please confirm manufacturer is not able to furnish technical manual and parts catalogs for these vehicle due to manufacturer’s information policy.

Gov’t Answer The government requires the technical manual and parts catalogs to conduct preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and other repairs as needed.

General Currently, it is difficult to deliver vehicles from the factory to other prefectures, therefore, as an alternative, we would like to collaborate with another company, but would this be ok?

Gov’t Answer It is up to individual company decisions to determine if subcontracting efforts will be necessary. US GovtThe Government will not dictate if subcontracting is required.

General

How long does it take to know the result of the bid after the quote submission was closed on 22 May 2023? Because some vehicles we list in a quote may not be available and ordered after the quote is submitted, even if they are currently in stock.

Per the solicitation, the submitted quote must be valid for 90 calendar days from the date of receipt of the quote. US GovtThe Government anticipates making a decision within 60 days after closing the solicitation.

General It is difficult to provide a firm delivery date for now, but what will happen if we request to extend the delivery date?

Gov’t Answer

Per the solicitation, vendors are required to estimate how many days after award delivery will occur (the Delivery date). The Government may grant extensions of the delivery date, but this is not guaranteed.
