About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation requesting quotes for two commercial item contracts to provide right-hand-drive buses for passenger transportation on Marine Corps bases in Okinawa, Japan.
The amendment modifies the solicitation by updating the vehicle requirements and characteristics for the buses under each contract line item number. It clarifies that the buses must meet all applicable Japanese safety and emissions standards. The amendment also revises the painting, logo, and signage schemes described in the appendices. The delivery date remains 240 calendar days after award. The Technical Evaluation will assess quotes as acceptable or unacceptable based on meeting the updated specifications. Award will be made to the responsible offeror providing the lowest priced quote that is acceptable under the evaluation factors.
