SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been added by full text:

Q&A

- Would it be possible to extend due date to 10/11? This amendment extends the solicitation response time to 15 October 2019, 10 am Pacific Time.

- Does Navy expect contractor to budget for cost of repairs and replacement (PARTS, MATERIAL and LABOR) and include in their FFP? Or will repairs/replacement be quoted by contractor on an as needed basis (using COR approved list of pricing for materials and parts)? See PWS paragraph 2. "The cost of parts and materials will be included in the award price at manufacturer’s published list price or contractor’s invoice cost, whichever is less, and when approved by the COR."

- Does Navy expect contractor to provide NFPA 10 maintenance and recharging frequencies beyond annual maintenance (i.e. six year, 12 year)? Would you please clarify which frequencies are required (i.e. monthly, annual, 5 year, 6 year, 12 year, etc.)? Per the PWS "Inspections as well as fire extinguisher repair and maintenance will be ordered via a service call initiated by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR)." Per the solicitation the contract is for 5 years.

- Can you provide a breakdown of quantities and types of extinguishers? No. This information is not available.
