(Q&A) Questions and Answers

1. Is the intent for the SME to only provide specific training during the larger course event, or are they responsible for the entire MEU Commander course (as an example)?

The SMEs will be required to be present during the majority of the ARG/MEU Staff Planning Course (AMSPC). The intent is to provide mentorship and subject matter expertise to their respective Commanders. The course runs for 12 calendar days and occurs one time per year.

2. Does EWTGLANT have the course material currently available for the SME review/update or will this require the SME to create a fully developed course prior to presentation?

There is no specific course material that the SME presents, but they can build their own presentations to use during the course if required. The ambassador support of the contract has presentations that have been used by prior ambassadors, but that candidate can produce their own training material.

3. For planning purposes, can the government share the tentative dates for the courses to be attended?

The current dates of the AMSPC are 09-19 December, 2024.

MECR dates are as follows: 14-18APR2025, 12-16MAY2025, 25-29AUG2025, and 22-26SEP2025
