Description: The Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) Albany, GA Contracts Department (S1940) intends to solicit for the commercial product described below. Contact the person(s) above to respond to this notice with your quotation. This requirement is brand name or an item equal to the brand name, please submit drawings and specifications with your quotation. If submitting a quote for an equal item please review the Salient Characteristics below, these are the requirements that MUST be met in order to qualify your item as an equal item. A review of your drawing and the salient characteristics below will be used to determine if your item meets the needs of the requirement.
(1) Specification / Qualification:
CLIN 0001: Solvent Recycler (Quantity: 2), similar or exact recycling system.
Manufacturer: ChempChamp North America Part Number: A-48V. Inculded in total purchase of Solvent Recycler will be the HD Basket for Crane System, Crane System, Nitrocellulose Package and a package of plastic bags Qty: 100.
CLIN 0002: Set up and Training (5 Days) Camp Kinser, BLDG 500 Bay 3, Okinawa, Japan 901-2100. Contractor incurred actual expenses resulting from government directed travel are cost reimbursable but are limited by government Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
Salient Characteristics:
Self-contained heating system that is easy to install and certify as explosion-proof.
Components: (1) 48 gallon (working volume) Distillation Vessel, Vacuum System, Microprocessor Control and Software, Thermal Oil heating system, Stainless condenser, Dirty solvent loading pump, Clean solvent transfer pump Distillation Vessel: Working Volume: 48-gallons/180 liters, Overall Volume: 60-gallons/227 liters, Wetted Construction: 304 Stainless Steel, Typical distillation rate: 7-10 gallons/26-57 liters per hour or more
Electric Resistance Heater: Explosion-proof heater. Temperature range: 100F – 390F / 40F-200F
Auto Cool Down: automatically go into a cool down mode.
Control Panel: Electrical components are CSA/UL approved, CSA Certified for Canada and USA per UL2208 Standard, Electrical design is in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) Class 1 Division 1 Group D environment.
Vacuum system: Reduce boiling temperatures, and reduce amount of heat energy needed for operation, vacuum is provided, and vacuum gage for visual inspection on the vacuum status.
Utility Requirements: 480 VAC, three-phase, 60 hertz, 21-ramp draw
Compressed air: Air should be provided at 90 PSI, 9 CFM clean, dry, and un-oiled. Air is used to operate the vacuum, fill and drain the pumps.
