About this file

This is a Standard Form 30 (SF 30) Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract, issued by the Commanding General, Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune in North Carolina on July 10, 2026. The amendment modifies solicitation M6700126Q00077 (originally dated July 9, 2026) and is not extending the receipt date for offers. The amendment's purpose is to update the Performance Work Statement for a non-personal services contract to provide a Liturgical Pianist at the Protestant Fellowship Chapel aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina.

The Performance Work Statement establishes qualifications requiring the contractor to have experience playing piano or keyboard with preference for performance experience and experience leading worship. The contractor must read music from the Armed Forces Hymnal and Liturgical resources, pass an audition with the Command Chaplain (dates TBD), and obtain a contractor badge within five working days of award. Key scope requirements include providing piano support at weekly Sunday worship services at 0900 hours and Festival Days (Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Holy Week) coordinated by the Command Chaplain; consulting with the Protestant Chaplain up to 3 hours weekly for music selection and rehearsal; providing musical support for Special Services including MLK Remembrance, National Day of Prayer, Blessing of Nurses, Blessing of Animals, 9/11 Remembrance, and Command Memorial (excluding weddings and non-command sponsored memorials); arranging qualified musical substitutes when unavailable with seven days advance notice; and remaining professionally current through personal study and training at the contractor's expense. The place of performance is MCAS Cherry Point Chapel, E Street, Building 100, Cherry Point, NC 28533. Performance standards require 100 percent acceptable quality level for all objectives: playing music at Sunday Services and Festival Days, weekly coordination with chaplains, playing music at Special Services, and ensuring qualified substitute availability for absences. The contractor is prohibited from performing work deviating from the purchase order and Performance Work Statement without prior approval from the Contract Administrator/Contracting Officer, with all associated costs borne by the contractor.
