About this file

This document is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany office moves. The contract covers furniture moving services with up to 1,000 man-hours per year, involving building-to-building and room-to-room moves within military base facilities. Key requirements include: no guaranteed minimum labor hours, invoicing per task order, no overtime work, normal working hours only, and 30-day notice for task orders. The contract specifies that 50% of furniture is modular and 50% is standard office furniture, with disposal of items like desks, chairs, file cabinets, and bookshelves. Moving equipment costs must be included in hourly rates, and travel is considered incidental to performance. Contractors will not be provided vehicles, and subcontractors are not permitted for this requirement.
