About this file
This is an Amendment of Solicitation for a furniture moving and installation contract for Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany, Georgia. The contract covers up to 1,000 man-hours of installation services for one base year with two 12-month option periods, beginning 26 September 2025. Key requirements include expeditious moving and staging of furniture, pre-packed office supplies, and files within various facilities, with contractors responsible for moving packed items, protecting facility spaces, and disposing of debris. The contract involves moving modular furniture, partition panels, file cabinets, safes, shelving, desks, chairs, and other office furniture across buildings up to three stories, with potential challenges like stairs and limited elevator access.
Contractors must provide a supervised team of at least three installers capable of completing five rooms/offices per day, and be knowledgeable about furniture assembly for various brands including Knoll, Haworth, HON, and others. The primary performance location is MCLB Albany, with working hours Monday through Friday, 0730-1500 hours. Base access requires background checks through the National Crime Information Center, and contractors will need to obtain Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) credentials. The solicitation response date was extended to 22 September 2025, with a point of contact of Tiffany Morris, and invoicing will be conducted on a per-task order basis.
