M6700119Q1087 Court Reporting and Transcription Services Solicitation M6700119Q1087 Questions Received and the Government’s Response
Q1. Arbitration Hearings: How much notice do we have on these?
Gov’t response: Notice of Arbitration hearings are usually agreed upon by the parties at least 2 months out.
Q2. Will the government be able to provide a sample of a page so we know exactly how you would like it?
Gov’t Response: Yes. See attached for standard transcript page.
Q3. Transcription of audio files? How do we get the audio?
Gov’t Response: We do not get audio files very often, but they could be via digital recording (ex. MP3) or via mini audio cassette.
Q4. Deliverables: Court reporter seems straight forward. Would the same deliverable be for transcripts that are produced by a court reporter?
Gov’t Response: Yes, per paragraph 1.0 f through 1.0 h below from the RFQ, deliverables for transcripts are as follows:
f. The transcript shall be made available to the FRC East within 14 calendar days from the conclusion of the hearing, deposition, or other litigation-related matter throughout each fiscal year.
g. Because of deadlines established by Presiding Officials in various forums for certain matters after the recording of testimony, Counsel anticipates that approximately four of the transcripts will need to be received before the 14-calendar day requirement per fiscal year. Expedited transcripts shall be made available to the FRC East within five-business days upon request.
h. Printed versions of the transcript or other printed materials, must be delivered via overnight delivery through Federal Express or other guaranteed overnight delivery method.
