Solicitation No.: M62613-23-Q-0005

Subj.: Questions and Answers

Q1: Waste removal at nighttime on the day of event, Apr 15, 2023. The maximum capacity of the processing vehicles owned by the processor is 40 tons per trip. The removal on 4.15 is at night and

4.16 is Sunday and the off-base dumping facility is not open. The water storage capacity of the toilet tanks is 400L per PJ, which is only enough to treat 100 PJs. Since the number of PJ to be removed on 4.15 is 368, we would like to ask you to change the installation location of 268 of them (where they can be removed after 4/17). Or we would like USG to reconsider that contractor can dump waste of 107.2 tons (estimate) (268 PJs x 400 liters) on the base since the PJs are being used between both nationals?

A1: United States Government (USG) is unable to dispose waste on base.

Q2: Can all (368) PJs be relocated to the Temporary Staging Area (Bldg. 885) on 4.15 at the conclusion of the event and then emptied on the following Monday 4.17?

A2: The waste will have to remain in the PJs while being relocated back to the Temporary Staging Area and would be the responsibility of the contractor to move the (368) PJs to this Temporary Staging

Area at the conclusion of the event.

Q3: Initial water supply. The contractor is responsible for the initial water supply, but will the USG provide water when initial water truck tank is empty since we cannot be in/out base on the day? or the contractor is responsible for all water supply initial and refill? Does USG have capability the necessary number of water tanks at all eight locations for water supply on the day of the event?

A3: USG is responsible for all water supply; both initial and refill. USG also has the capability to maintain all eight locations with replenished water when needed. The contractor would be responsible for the initial fill and refilling of the PJs.
