Industry Day Participants.xlsx

This file is an attendee list from the NextSTEP-3 Appendix B Industry Day held on January 22, 2026, a hybrid event conducted in Washington, D.C. and virtually. The spreadsheet documents approximately 300+ registered participants representing diverse organizations across the aerospace, space technology, and related sectors, including major contractors (Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Blue Origin, SpaceX), smaller space companies (Intuitive Machines, Axiom Space, Relativity Space), national laboratories (NASA centers, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory), academic institutions (MIT, Georgia Tech, Purdue, Texas A&M), and government agencies. Attendees included engineers, program managers, business development professionals, and executives with email contact information and organizational affiliations listed.

The Industry Day provided context and information regarding NASA's Moon to Mars NextSTEP-3 Appendix B solicitation, which seeks industry-led architecture concept development and risk-reduction activities addressing Moon to Mars capabilities. The final solicitation (80MSFC26R0003) was anticipated for release on or about January 30, 2026, with proposals due approximately February 20, 2026. NASA plans to establish a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) structure with Firm-Fixed Price Task Orders and performance-based milestone payments, supporting several calls per year for proposals focused on infrastructure, transportation, habitation, mission concept of operations, and lunar and Mars science capabilities. Only MATOC holders are eligible to compete for directed-topic calls, though open-topic opportunities remain available to qualified organizations regardless of MATOC membership status.
