Announcement: M24AS00316

Application Due Date: July 30, 2024

Questions & Responses: Ka`iwi Channel, Hawai`i Traditional Cultural Landscapes

1. Question: Are not offering this ONLY to CESU members, correct? I.e., this would only be a CESU project if the selected organization was a member, right? The eligibility language is quite broad, so mainly youʻre wanting me to share this with CESU partners?

Response: This opportunity is open to organizations that are members of the CESU and to organizations that are not members of the CESU. We would like CESU members to be aware of the NOFO so they can consider this opportunity should they want to apply.

2. Question: Can CESU members utilize the CESU 17.5% indirect cost rate for this opportunity?

Response: If a CESU member organization submits an application for this opportunity, they should use the CESU’s 17.5% indirect cost rate when estimating their costs. If an organization that is not a CESU member submits an application, they should use their organization’s indirect cost rate.
