THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE – THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S

INTENT TO INCREASE CEILING

The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate

(WHS/AD) hereby provides notice of its intent to execute a modification to increase the ceiling of the current single award Data Mining Software-as-a-Service Platform with Data and Analytics

Solutions Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract using other than full and open competition, based on the circumstances identified in 10 U.S.C.3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-

1(a)(2)(iii)(B). The ceiling increase will be applicable to the remaining ordering period of the

IDIQ contract, including the six month extension available under the clause FAR 52.217-8, “Option to Extend Services”. The current IDIQ contract holder is:

December 10, 2024. The increase of the ceiling is intended to meet both immediate and forecasted requirements until such time that a follow-on contract can be awarded.

The Data Mining IDIQ provides OCMO and DoD leaders, operators, and analysts the technology and analytical support they need to enable the National Defense Strategy by building a more lethal force and reforming the DoD for greater performance and affordability. The National

Defense Business Operations Plan requires ongoing analysis of various DoD lines of business and areas of focus, such as:

Human resource management.

Financial management.

Real property management.

Logistics and supply chain management.

Healthcare management.

Community services.

Cyber defense and information technology management, as well as testing and evaluation.

The J&A for this action will be posted in accordance with FAR 6.305. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach.
