About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for scissor lift repair services at MCB Camp Pendleton, California. The objective is to repair a single Autoquip-manufactured scissor lift (72" travel carousel model) that accesses horizontal carousels used to store Marine Corps equipment repair parts. The lift requires repair or replacement due to damage to the leg assembly and hydraulic components.
The contractor must conduct a site visit to confirm required repairs, furnish and install replacement materials including leg assembly, base frame, cylinders, and hosing, and test the lift to ensure proper operation. All work shall be performed at building 2251 on MCB Camp Pendleton. The contractor is responsible for removing damaged parts and placing them outside the building, while the government will provide building access, power access, and removal of damaged parts from the job site. The contractor must provide a repair start date to the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) upon receipt of required repair parts. Quality will be measured based on contractors quoted materials at time of solicitation. The TPOC, identified as Steve Elggren (760-725-3172, steven.elggren@usmc.mil), will inspect the completed work but has no authority to authorize contract changes; only the Contracting Officer from Regional Contracting Office MCI-WEST can authorize modifications. The scissor lift specifications include a 6' x 14' platform, 2,000 lb. lifting capacity, 20 FPM raising/lowering speed, and operates with electrohydraulic power and NEMA-12 controls.
