QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. Is it sufficient to meet spec for the offered product to have no in-built capability for data storage and/or transmission? Or is there a more codified requirement that needs to be met such as tempest approval or specific shielding requirements?
Yes, it is sufficient for the offered product to have no built-in capability for data storage or transmission.
2. Does the cart need to come with the 48 port switch installed? Or is this requested cart to be switch ready? (If it needs to come with the switch installed, can you please provide approved manufacturers and model numbers) No, the switch does not need to be installed. We are requesting that the cart is ready for a switch (i.e there is a designated space for a 48-port switch) to be installed in it to provide ethernet connectivity to the laptops within the cart.
3. The cart is to come pre-wired for USB-C charging for Dell Laptops. Can you please provide the Dell model numbers, so that I can verify charger compatibility?

4. Is there a rating system or markings that you can provide to determine if the proposed cart is approved for use in a classified area? I am not familiar with any classification systems that would provide that info. Hoping you could point me in the right direction.
As long as there is no prohibited technology attached/installed into the cart.
5. The solicitation does not have a need date. Do you have a drop-dead need date?

7. My question is; are these requested carts have to be "Pre-wired" with 33 ethernet cables and 32 USB-C? I have no problem providing the type C USB cables along with ethernet cables but does the cart itself have to be pre-wired?

11. Is there any way to extend the ACD to 60 days?

12. 1. Is the width listed in the solicitation (1.7 inches) an absolute minimum? I have been able to find multiple vendors who can come close (approx. 1.63 inches).
Yes, 1.6 inches will work.
