Questions and Answers

1. Quantity is 1200/month – please validate

1. Answer: This is an estimate (only) for how much Freon is collected in pounds (whether it’s from bottles or equipment)

1. Typical refrigerant vessel to be recovered 50#-please validate

1. Answer: if the refrigerant can be recovered from a piece of equipment then the contractor will proceed with recovery (vessel doesn’t matter nor does how many vessels recovered). It was a fixed price for the monthly service.

1. Other vessels to be recovered-please have clarified

1. Answer: the vessels include but not limited to refrigerators, water coolers, water fountains, and a/c units( various types and sizes)

1. Anything else- multiple sites?

1. Answer: In most cases we have the units bring the equipment to the specified location on base. There are instances where we go on location to recover equipment on site but we try to plan those accordingly with the units.

1. After hours?

1. Answer: The hours we have set for the contract are from 0730-1600. We usually have the task completed between the hours of 0730-1030.

1. Do they want credit on valuable Freon or just disposal?

1. Answer: This program is just for disposal only.

1. I understand there are 1,220 cylinders to be evacuated. Can you provide the size and/or volume of these cylinders?

1. Answer: They are 50lb containers.
