About this file
This document provides installation information for two workspaces that are part of a federal contract opportunity. The first workspace is on the first floor of a building and is an unclassified space with double doors and a regular single office door. The second workspace is on the third floor of the building, which is a classified space that can only be accessed through a freight elevator. The document outlines the dimensions and access details for both workspaces, including potential challenges for installing large furniture items.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation from the United States Marine Corps seeking small businesses capable of providing all office furniture items for these two workspaces. The solicitation number is M000894569220 and the opportunity type is a sources sought.

Installation Information
1. There is no existing furniture that the new furniture must match. This is a complete renovation of TWO workspaces.
1. Installation would be helpful but I would need to know how much the installation will cost in advance.
Workspace #1
1. The workspace is on the first floor, ground level, no elevator required. UNCLASSIFIED SPACE
1. No dock doors. Entry into the building will be through double doors (essentially French doors that are approximately 6 feet wide with both doors opened). Regular single office door to enter the workspace (approximately 36 inches wide). From exterior door to workspace door is about 80 feet. The area immediately after entering the workspace door is slightly confined (approximately 4 feet deep so items brought into the space will need to come in at an angle). Not sure if large desk frames would need to be assembled inside the room or if they will fit through the door and the confined area.
Workspace #2
1. The workspace is on the third floor. CLASSIFIED SPACE
1. No dock doors. There is a freight elevator. Entry into the building will be through double doors (essentially French doors that are approximately 6 feet wide with both doors opened). There are two doors that you will have to pass through to get to the second workspace (each approximately 36 inches wide). Distance from exterior door on first floor to freight elevator is approximately 80 feet. Distance from same freight elevator on the third floor to the first doorway is approximately 40 feet. Distance from first doorway to actual workspace doorway is approximately 32 feet.
