About this file

This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) document from Bristol Community College in Massachusetts for dental hygiene student supplies. The college seeks proposals to supply comprehensive dental hygiene kits for 39 students across two cohorts: 22 incoming freshmen and 17 advancing sophomores. The supplies are intended to support the dental hygiene program curriculum and clinical training requirements. The RFP specifies detailed product requirements including various dental instruments, protective equipment, sterilization supplies, and educational materials necessary for student instruction and hands-on practice. Proposals must be submitted by the specified deadline to be considered for award, with the expectation that the selected vendor will provide all required items prior to the start of the academic term.

The pricing structure requires vendors to provide comprehensive cost quotations for complete supply packages for both student cohorts, with clear itemization of unit and total costs. Bristol Community College will evaluate proposals based on pricing competitiveness, product quality, vendor experience with educational institutions, and ability to meet delivery timelines. The contract will support the college's accredited dental hygiene program, which is subject to specific educational and clinical standards. Funding for this procurement comes from Bristol Community College's institutional budget allocated to program operations and student education requirements.
