The contract covers a two-year initial term beginning December 1, 2022 and ending November 30, 2024, with two one-year renewal options available. The scope of work includes ten service categories: mowing and trimming (26 occurrences annually), fertilizer and herbicide applications (3 occurrences), gutter cleaning (2 occurrences), landscaping (3 occurrences), snowplowing (52 occurrences), shoveling (52 occurrences), herbicide and weed application (1 as-needed occurrence), wood chips or bark application (1 as-needed occurrence), spring cleanup (1 occurrence), and fall cleanup (2 occurrences). Bidders must submit pricing schedules in modifiable format (Microsoft Word or Excel) with unit pricing and annual costs for each service line item, with optional supplementary pricing in PDF format. All pricing must include one-time charges, setup fees, and ancillary costs such as shipping and handling. The State is not obligated to purchase in the quantities listed, as service frequency is weather-dependent and unknown. Contractors must provide reliable commercial equipment including mowers, string trimmers, and blowers, with all equipment subject to review prior to award. Contractors are responsible for any property damage resulting from service delivery and must maintain backup equipment to prevent service delays due to mechanical breakdown.
