About this file
This document is a Memorandum for Record for a brand name purchase of antennas and radio cables from L3Harris, a sole source procurement under the simplified acquisition threshold. The 410th Contracting Support Brigade/Regional Contracting Office - Miami is acquiring these items to support Caribbean Partner Nations' (PN) Defense Force-Coast Guard operations. The total estimated value is $140,611.57. The antennas and cables are required to ensure the PN communication systems maintain warranty and operational specifications. The procurement will be a firm-fixed price purchase order with a 30-day delivery. Market research determined these are commercial items with no expectation of two or more small businesses meeting the delivery schedule or offering fair market pricing. The justification to limit competition will be posted with the solicitation.
