About this file
This document contains a summary of questions and answers related to a Request for Response (RFR) issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Lakes & Ponds Program for the DCR 931 Lakes & Ponds Design, Assessment and Management project, Bid# BD-24-1020-DCRCU-DC250-99320.
The RFR seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide a range of in-lake and watershed services, including lake and pond environmental assessment, monitoring, analysis, engineering, and design of in-lake structures, aquatic permitting, aquatic plant management and herbicide treatment, watershed erosion management, and educational projects in freshwater lake and pond systems. The RFR includes requirements for bidders to provide a minimum of 3 example projects for each subcategory, and allows for non-Massachusetts experience to be considered if the majority of the contractor's demonstrated experience is in Massachusetts. Bidders may use the same reference across multiple subcategories if the work example is relevant to the specific subcategory. The RFR also clarifies that resumes for key personnel are not requested at this stage, but will be included in bids for specific work solicited at a later date.
