About this file

This is a Living Wage Certification Form issued by the Town of Manchester, Connecticut, as a mandatory submission requirement for bidders responding to the Town's On-Call Real Estate Consulting Services solicitation. Bidders must complete and return the form with their proposal submission, certifying whether they are a Covered Employer subject to the Manchester Living Wage Ordinance (Chapter 212 of the Manchester Code of Ordinances, Sections 212-1 through 212-11) or qualify for an exemption. Failure to complete and return the form may result in rejection of the bid or proposal.

Bidders must indicate their employment status under the ordinance by selecting either that they are a covered employer committed to paying the required living wage to eligible employees throughout the contract term, or that they are not a covered employer due to one or more qualifying exemptions. The exemptions available include: employing fewer than twenty-five eligible employees; having an annual contract value below $25,000; or operating as a charitable foundation, charitable trust, or nonprofit organization exempt from federal income taxation under Section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code. The form requires certification by an officer, owner, or authorized representative of the bidding company, with signature, printed name, date, bid number, and bid name required for validity.
