About this file
This document is a specification sheet for moveable livestock shelters associated with a state and local contract opportunity from Auburn University in Alabama. The project requires sixteen 12' x 24' oversized moveable units designed specifically for draft horses, with unique height specifications of 10' in the front and 8' in the back. The shelters will be constructed using 29-gauge metal for the roof and three sides, include metal trim for roof sides and corners, and come with all necessary lumber (including 3/4" kickboards) and hardware for assembly.
The specification details include comprehensive requirements for the shelters, covering materials, dimensions, and construction components. The units will be mounted on skids for mobility, and the contract includes full assembly of the structures and shipping. The detailed technical specifications suggest a precise and standardized approach to providing these specialized livestock shelters, with careful attention to the specific needs of draft horses in terms of shelter design and dimensions.
