PBS- REG. 5

Limited Sources Justification and Approval

Pursuant to FAR 8.405-6

The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (“CBP”) requires additional office furniture at its office in Rosemont, IL . The work will include reconfiguring existing Equity workstations and adding furniture for private offices. Equity workstations were Knoll product but are currently supplied by Neutral Posture Inc. The existing private offices have Knoll Inc. furniture. In order to ensure the additional product matches the existing, the new product must be Knoll Inc. product. The reconfiguration will likely involve new product that must be Equity product to integrate with the existing. In addition the work must be performed by an authorized installer to maintain any warranty. This will be an FSS procurement. Based on market research, RJE Interiors, Inc. ("RJE"), FSS Contract 47QSCA18D000D, is the only known contractor that can provide both the Equity workstation and Knoll private office furniture. Consideration will therefore be limited to

RJE.
