Measurement and Verification:

Contractor will obtain voltage and amperage readings at a sample of different lighting circuits throughout prior to commencement of the Work so that the baseline energy consumption can be determined. Sampling will follow a statistical sampling approach with 80/20 precision and confidence criteria on circuits that represent at least 10% of the fixtures in the building. The same readings will be taken after installation has been completed to generate a matching pre- and post-retrofit data set. The data summarized will be used by Ameresco in the calculation of the baseline energy consumption and/or demand.

Data collection should be completed on the included Ameresco M&V Lighting Form (Appendix 5) and based on the quantities detailed in Appendix 6. These total quantities should be spread across a minimum of 4 buildings to ensure an adequate data sampling.

All required M&V activities will be scheduled a minimum of one week in advance and coordinated to allow both Ameresco and Owner personnel to witness all testing.

Readings will be repeated upon completion of each building to verify post-project energy consumption.
