Re: 15B10624Q00000035, Replacement 10 Heat Exchangers Federal Correctional Complex Butner
Dear Quoters: Accompanying this cover letter is a solicitation package prepared by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, for the acquisition of (10) Replacement Heat exchangers for the Federal Correctional Complex Butner, Butner, North Carolina. This package contains all necessary information for submitting a quote.
In submitting the request for quote (RFQ), quoters should consider all information provided herein. Please, carefully follow all instructions located in the solicitation package concerning the content, format, and submission of your quote. Please note, failure to comply with the instructions may lead to the exclusion of the quote provided by the quoter.
All potential quoters are advised that this solicitation includes the clause at FAR 52.204-7(b)(1) “An Offeror is required to be registered in SAM when submitting an offer or quotation, and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation.”
Quoters shall include their unique entity identifier number in Block 20 of the Standard Form 1449, in accordance with FAR 52-212.1(j). The Contracting Officer will verify registration is the SAM database prior to award by entering the potential unique entity identifier number into the respective database.
Offers are due in this office no later than Friday, August 23, 2024, 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time. Please note, email offers will be accepted only by Casey McLean at cmclean@bop.gov and Broguen Mckeown at bmckeown@bop.gov
Quotes must be received in this office no later than the time specified as the deadline for receipt of quotes.
Quotes received after the quote deadline will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f). The anticipated date of award is Friday, August 23, 2024.
The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards by line item. The Government will award to the responsible vendor(s) whose quote conforms to the solicitation and is considered the best overall value to the Government based on price, delivery time, and past performance.
Prospective quoters are also cautioned against discussing the preparation of their quote (or any technical questions) with Government technical personnel. The circumstances of such contact, when verified, may result in non-consideration of the quote. Accordingly, all communications prior to an award will be directed to the Contract Specialists, in writing, to the aforementioned email addresses.
