About this file
This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for trash removal services at the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel Water Treatment Plant in Leadville, Colorado. The PWS requires the contractor to remove domestic garbage from the plant once per week and provide a 2-yard dumpster for the duration of the contract. The contractor must furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, and supervision to perform the services. The contract is for a 1-year base period from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026, with four 1-year option periods. The Government will use a Contracting Officer's Representative to monitor the contractor's performance against established standards. Acceptable performance is required, or the Government may reduce the contract price to reflect defective services.
The related federal contract opportunity is a Sources Sought notice for LMDT Trash Services. The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking information from potential small business contractors that can provide the required trash disposal services detailed in the PWS. Responses should include company information, point of contact, business size and status, and applicable NAICS codes. This notice is for market research and planning purposes only, not a request for quotes. The Government will use the responses to make appropriate acquisition decisions when a formal solicitation is issued.
