Respondents must provide unit rates as outlined in this document, consistent with the following:
▪ Scope limited to the request. Respondents must price only the items requested. Responders may not add, delete, or substitute items.
▪ Basis of rates. The City has provided general assumptions for each work item, including site conditions, work standards, and unit of measure. Unit prices must include these assumptions. (See table: “City Comments/Notes”)
▪ Price composition. Unit prices should include materials, equipment, labor, overhead, and profit.
▪ Price exclusion. Unit prices should not include ancillary costs such as mobilization, temporary services (except where specified), site security, storage, on-site management, performance bonds, insurance, or permitting.
▪ Project size. Responders should assume that the Project area is between ten (10) and fifty (50) acres of public park construction.
▪ Current market rates. Rates must reflect current market conditions on the date of submission.

● No obligation to compensate. The City will not compensate any responder for the cost of preparing, submitting, or clarifying a response to this RFI.
● No obligation to award. Responding to this RFI creates no obligation on the part of the City to award a future contract or any scope of work to any responder. This RFI is not a commitment to issue a future solicitation.
● No contract formed. A response is informational. It is not an offer capable of acceptance, and the City's receipt of a response does not form a contract.
● No prequalification. A response to this RFI does not prequalify a responder for any future solicitation or service.
● Informational use only. Unit rates are for the City's budgeting and cost estimating. The City will not hold a responder to a submitted rate, and a submitted rate does not limit or substitute for a price in any future competitive solicitation.
● Right to modify or cancel. The City may amend, suspend, or cancel this RFI at any time and may issue addenda. The City will post addenda to the same location as this RFI.
● Determination of qualification. Responders may be asked to demonstrate capacity and capability for similar work. The City will determine, in its sole discretion, whether a responder is qualified, and may reject any or all responses.
