About this file
This is an addendum to a stream restoration project in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The Kings Branch at Arrowood Road Stream Restoration Phase 2B project includes earthwork modifications with estimated quantities of 63,600 cubic yards of cut and 17,400 cubic yards of fill. The bid date is November 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Contractors are responsible for completing independent quantity take-offs based on the construction plans, as the provided estimates are for bidding purposes only and are not guaranteed. AutoCAD Civil3D files and an Excel version of the bid tabulation sheet are available upon request from Heather.O'Donal@kimley-horn.com to assist with quantity verification.
The addendum clarifies that estimated quantities are bank-measured figures without application of shrink or swell factors and do not include designated spoils areas. All identified fill is assumed to go to spoils areas shown on the construction plans; however, contractors may propose alternative spoil locations, though any off-site permitting remains the contractor's responsibility. Contractors must acknowledge Addendum No. 1 on the Execution of Bid/Proposal Signature Page. The signed and sealed construction plans are the only official documents, and contractors should verify that electronic bid tabulation sheets are consistent with the project manual included in the advertisement.

KINGS BRANCH AT ARROWOOD ROAD STREAM RESTORATION
PHASE 2B
MECKLENBURG COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA
BID DATE: November 5, 2026, 11:00 AM
MODIFICATIONS TO THE ADVERTISED PRE-BID MEETING
The estimated quantities are bank-measures and were not based on any geotechnical information.
No shrink or swell factor was used in this estimate.
Estimated cut: 63,600 CY
Estimated fill: 17,400 CY
The estimated fill does not include spoils areas; it is assumed all fill can go to the identified spoils areas on the Construction Plans. If contractors have alternative spoil locations, they would like to use that is allowable; however, any permitting of off-site spoils is the responsibility of the contractor. These earthwork quantities are provided as an estimate for bidding purposes and are in no way guaranteed. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to complete an independent quantity take off based on the Construction Plans.
If requested, AutoCAD Civil3D files can be provided to contractors to complete earthwork take offs. The digital files are for estimation purposes only – the signed and sealed plans are the only official documents.
If requested, the excel version of the bid tabulation sheet can be provided to complete quantity take offs. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to verify the quantities listed in the electronic version of the bid tabulation sheet are consistent with the project manual included in the advertisement.
Please email Heather.ODonal@kimley-horn.com for AutoCAD Civil3D or excel version of the bid tabulation.
