About this file
This is an FBI Request for Information (RFI) template for K9 vendor and specialty trainer services to support the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) Tactical K9 Program. The template outlines requirements for providing tactical K9s that can operate in a team environment and differentiate between Operators and non-Operators, with three K9 teams required to maintain 1-hour recall status.
The RFI seeks information from both small and large businesses regarding their capabilities to provide K9s and specialty training services. Companies are asked to provide: company name and size, evidence of technical ability and experience, GSA Schedule status and SIN if applicable, and other business details including DUNS number, CAGE code, facility clearance, and NAICS codes. The template emphasizes this is not a solicitation or request for proposals, and no funds are available for response preparation. Respondents should submit capability packages with succinct responses addressing FBI requirements but should not include proposals, past performance information, or requests for future solicitation notifications.
