About this file

This document is a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (J&A) issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution for a sole-source purchase order to GATR Technologies, Inc. The acquisition involves extended warranties for GATR Trac antenna units, with a total of four warranties to be provided, each with a one-year period of performance beginning at the conclusion of the current warranty's expiration. The Army requires these specialized antenna parts, and GATR Technologies is identified as the only manufacturer capable of providing the antennas at the required quality level for mission-critical imagery data transmission to Army warfighters, US Joint Forces, and allies. The document indicates the procurement will be made using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 & 13.5 as a new firm-fixed-price purchase order, with a sole-source notice to be posted on SAM.gov.
