This is a Sources Sought document for market research and Small Business capability assessment issued by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), a Federally Funded Research and Development Center managed by Caltech University under NASA. JPL is seeking qualified Small Businesses and/or Small Business Joint Ventures or Teams led by Small Businesses with demonstrated experience in high-performance space computing and avionics systems development and integration. The applicable NAICS code is 336414 (Guided Missile and Space Vehicle Manufacturing) with a small business size standard of 1,300 employees. Interested vendors must demonstrate capabilities across eight primary scope areas: HPSC-based processor and single-board computer (SBC) development and integration; SOSA S3C/SpaceVPX architecture development and integration; plug-in card and chassis development and integration; high-speed networking and data interface development and integration; space computing power and data handling; flight software development and integration; development and test environment implementation and support; and hardware/software integration with transition to flight-qualified hardware.

Responses must be submitted to smallbusiness.programsoffice@jpl.nasa.gov with "High Performance Space Computing (HPSC) Capabilities" in the subject line. Vendors must complete the attached capability assessment form, provide company information including CAGE/UEI code, indicate socioeconomic classifications (SB, SDB, WOSB, VOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone certifications if applicable), and submit a minimum of three past performance examples with contract details, contract values, periods of performance, and technical descriptions demonstrating relevant experience. JPL will host three informational webinars on September 8, 9, and 10, 2026 with Contract Technical Managers, the Subcontracts Manager, and Small Business Programs Office representatives available to address questions.
