About this file
This document is a "Lease Extension" Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Klamath Falls, Oregon. BLM currently leases 32,271 usable square feet, which will be reduced to 27,271 square feet during the lease extension, consisting of 14,211 USF of office space, 13,510 USF of warehouse space, and 18,076 square feet of wareyard space. The lease extension is requested for 60 months, ending July 1, 2030, to provide GSA time to complete a new lease acquisition. The incumbent landlord has expressed interest in the extension, and BLM published a pre-solicitation notice in SAM.gov with no alternative responses meeting their requirements. The cost benefit analysis shows savings to the government by remaining in the current facility, and the lease extension aims to maintain uninterrupted delivery of services while allowing for potential future improvements.
