About this file

This justification document seeks approval for a sole source contract with LAZ Parking LTD, LLC to provide 25 secure parking spaces for White House Service Center employees within a quarter mile of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. The General Services Administration requires the parking spaces to have 24/7 access with key fob entry. The contract would be for one year with four optional one-year extensions. LAZ Parking is uniquely qualified as the only company able to meet the strict requirements within the limited geographic radius. Market research found no other parking operators in the area provide comparable 24/7 secured access. The estimated value is $520,800. Approval is granted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(2) as LAZ Parking is the only responsible source that can satisfy the agency's needs.
