Federal Emergency Management Agency
About this file
This document is a justification and approval for other than full and open competition related to COVID-19 response efforts. The Federal Emergency Management Agency awarded indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts for swabs and medical media to AJINOMOTO ALTHEA, INC. with a ceiling of $200,000,000.00. A fixed price delivery order of $3,233,895.55 was also awarded under one of the IDIQ contracts. The justification cites emergency declarations approved for all 50 U.S. states and territories and outlines FEMA's role in supporting the Department of Health and Human Services' COVID-19 response through contract actions to meet increasing supply needs across states. Items procured include personal protective equipment, ventilators, facility sanitation, testing site setup and sustainment, and healthcare support services. The period of performance for awards made under this justification is through May 29, 2020.
